GLADIATORS DAY

A THRILLING COMPETITION ON THE TRAIL OF ROMAN LEGIONARIES.

Experience an action-packed and exciting battle between two gladiators, at the end of which you must decide on "life and death" of the defeated. Afterwards, compete in various disciplines in which the Romans were trained 2000 years ago. Under the guidance of our legionaries, who are naturally dressed in accurate historic costumes, you will not only learn how to handle typical weapons of antiquity, you will also become acquainted with Roman games of skill.

Let us take you back into time to "historic Rome" and entertain you with the following events in our "Gladiator's Challenge":

GLADIATOR’S EXHIBITION BOUT

Travel back to the time of the Romans. Experience an effective and spectacular bout between our brave fighters, who naturally use exact replicas of historic weapons, shields and armour!

FENCING WITH SWORD AND SHIELD

After experiencing an entertaining and exciting exhibition bout as a spectator, you will now have the chance to fight yourself. Under the supervision of experienced "gladiators" you will be able to demonstrate your talent with a sword and shield. For your own safety, you will use weapons made of foam material. Nevertheless - or maybe just because of that- we guarantee you will have a lot of fun!

JAVELIN WITH THE PILUM

This game requires skill and some strength. Our "auxiliaries" (support troops) will supply you with valuable tips for the correct javelin technique. We invite you to take proper aim and force and "bag the bear" as often as you can.

AXE-THROWING

The axe was a favoured weapon, especially by the Germanic troops of the Empire. After an introduction you will be able to throw the axe yourself. The aim of the game is to hit all of the three wooden stakes with as few attempts as necessary.
