Ferdinand Fernleaf, a leading member of the ‘Cryptozoological Society of Germany’ and noted researcher of the
‘alpine Abominable Snowman’, disappears without a trace during his investigations in the region of the spa town of Bad Tölz. The last reports of the vanished man mention a hot trail he was
following, and that he was about to make the discovery of the century.
